• Profile information (optional phone number, bio, profile photo, and specialty)
• Content you post (images, videos, captions, and optional location labels)
• Direct messages you send through the service
• Reports, blocks, and other safety actions you submit
• Approximate or precise location data (when you grant location permission or choose to add a location to your profile or posts)

Information collected automatically:

• Basic request data (IP address and user agent)
• App interactions, device and app metadata, and identifiers used for analytics, maps, and push notifications
• Diagnostic and crash information collected by the Google Maps SDK

We use first-party telemetry and error monitoring to improve reliability and product quality.

We do not send marketing communications at this time. Emails, if sent, are limited to account and service-related messages (for example, verification and password reset).

• To protect rights and safety

Google Maps provides in-app maps. Its SDK collects device metadata, an SDK-specific pseudonymous identifier, IP address, diagnostic and crash information, and map interactions to maintain and improve Google services. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active.

You can request account deletion in the app from Settings or by emailing us from your account email address. Your account is deactivated immediately when an in-app request is made and scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days. Our daily cleanup runs after this period. The scheduled cleanup removes your account and profile, sign-in accounts and sessions, posts, likes, saved posts, direct messages, and uploaded media from our database and source media storage. Cached or backup copies may persist until their normal expiry. Safety reports and operational logs may be retained for safety, fraud-prevention, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes; these records are not removed by the account-deletion job. Contact us for a review of retained data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Initiate account deletion from Settings

6. Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Edges is intended for people aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
